It all began in 1973, when Lewisville had a population of 13,000 and one stop light. Thatís when Bill Barber opened an Arts & Crafts store in Lakeland Plaza. In 1974, Bill opened J. B. Paint & Frame in the Old Orchard Shopping Center. He expanded from 1,600 to over 4,000 square feet carrying home decor, wallpaper, paint, artist supplies and started custom framing.
After a successful 10 years of custom framing, Bill built a shopping center called Settlers Mall (now the Atrium) and renamed his business ďPremier GalleryĒ becoming an exclusive art and custom framing business. Later Bill sold the building and moved into Garden Park shopping center; a few years later moved across the street next to Tom Thumb, where he stayed for 10 years, before designing a state of the art Custom Framing and Art Gallery at 1681 Justin Road (407) in Flower Mound. Premier Gallery is located directly in front of Cloud 9 Salon and across the street from Majestic Fine Wine and Spirits.
